About Us

'Belle Chaton Maine Coon Cattery is located in Southwest Louisiana. Our cattery is registered with CFF and TICA. As an upcoming breeder we are honored to have Phyllis Stiebens, the author of the book "Behold the Personal Maine Coon" and breeder with over 37 years of experience with these gentle giants mentoring us. We focus on making the transition from our loving home to yours as easy as possible and strive to breed happy and healthy maine coons as well as educate their new owners and ensure these precious creatures get the love, care and attention they deserve. Our kittens are raised alongside my family and have unlimited amounts of social interaction from our family, friends, and pets. All of our kittens are given the necessary vaccinations and worming by our vet before leaving our cattery. They are fed on a raw diet.  The recipe can be found under our Links tab. All of our Dams and Sires undergo DNA testing and must test negative for HCM, PK deficiency, PKD and SMA before being allowed to breed.  We also have HCO ultrasound echocardiograms done on our breeding pairs before 2 years of age and again between 3 and 4 years of age.
