Why a Maine Coon?

My love for Maine Coons started back in March of 2021, when our friends welcomed one into their home. That was the first time I had ever heard of a Maine Coon. I fell in love with Ragnar right away and was captivated by his unique profile and his huge poly paws. I knew then and there I had to have one. After about a year of begging and researching we finally decided to move forward. Currently working with a total of 5 gorgeous babies in our program.  All coming from American lines and some foundation.  The breed is known for being absolutely magnificent and having beautiful, silky coats. They are characteristically docile and friendly with everyone around, including children, dogs, and other cat breeds.  They absolutely love their owners and will become very attached but aren't very demanding when it comes to your time. They have a soft tempered nature, and they rarely resist affection from their owners. Our guy Mars will greet everyone who walks into our home. He absolutely loves when we have company over.  You will be welcomed with lots of cuddles and lap naps. You will often find your Maine Coon following you from room to room. A Maine Coon's personality can vary anywhere from very playful to laid back. Maine coons are very intelligent and can be trained to preform simple tricks and commands. They are known for playing fetch as well as opening doors. Some even enjoy the water.  Maine coons make adorable sounds like cheeps, trills and chirps (more bird like noises rather than your everyday domestic cat). On average they can weigh anywhere from 8-25lbs and measuring up to 40 inches in length. The larger ones are usually males. They truly make the best pets. I will always have a Maine Coon for as long as I live.
